I'm sooo effin missing my Summer in 2007 cos..

* It was THE VERY FIRST TIME I traveled to Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Venice, Florence, Pisa, Milano, Marseille, Athens, so on.. at the same time! Such a rush, god! :P

* I cooked "dolma" and made a Turkish breakfast for my newly met awesome friends who happen to be from Hawaii, Italy and Sweden!!

* I met the coolest people on Earth! I mean it!!

* Paris Rendez-Vous 2007.. Gosh.. I did NOT know anything about it till I stepped in Paris that sunny day!! First, I met Jana during the Salsa night. And I felt like I've known her FOR YEARS! I remember talking about my crazy travel adventure so far that night.

Then I met my lovely Ilenia under Eiffel Tower!
( im still laughing at the text message traffic we had with Jana about that meeting "tower/towel" lol. Remember it, Jana?)

and "after a few hours" we had to make this awesome conversation:

Ilenia: What's your plan for tomorrow?
me: I'm leaving Paris.
Ilenia: Why?? -eyes opened wide-
me: Because my host is leaving the city for the weekend and I've stayed in Paris enough. I gotta hit the road again.
Ilenia: Nooo, you're coming to my place, you can stay as long as you want. -sincerely with a gorgeous smile-

and so I did. And I could not leave Paris for another 4 days!! Picnic, Irish beers, me getting lost on the streets while trying to find Ilenia's work place.. :p (because she had my camera in her bag!) and finally forgetting my other camera at her house!!!! :D

* I met Zelal, Bergen and Efe on the road. Sooo many great memories, soo much laugh.. "One, two, three, foro" ;)

* I visited my favourite artist's -Monet's- house in Giverny. *Thanks to Robert*

* That was the summer that I was blessed with BESAME MUCHO everywhere! Wherever I went, I happened to hear that song. It was on the boat on my way to Italy from Greece. Robert played it for me on the piano in Holland. The street musicians were playing it when I was passing. Etc..

* I bought my awesome backpack and -now woren out- trainers that summer. They were my kinda best friend back then.

* I celebrated my 24th birthday in Venice.

* It was the first time (and hopefully the last one :p ) I "fell into sleep" on a bar in Dusseldorf (Germany) with the loudest rock & dance sound ever!! Blame the crazy road trip, not me!! :D

* It was the summer that I *stole* some cheese in Rome, sneaked out of the dorm w/o paying for the night -it was 25 Euro per night!-, got into the trains w/o doing the reservation stuff, enjoying myself on vaperettos in Venice (again free of charge, for sure) :p

* It was then that I fell in love with Rome.

* It was then that I started writing my travel blog.
ALAS, still just in Turkish!

and so many more reasons.. :/
